BK's "It's All About Miya"

My family still has our digital camera, so I haven't been able to put up any new Miya pics. However, I have managed to find a few, older pics that you all might be interested in. Hopefully, they'll tide you over until I can get the camera back next week. Then, I'll be doing a full update on how our great Akita has been doing. Oh, and that strange man in one of the pictures is none other than our good friend, Chris. Any of you out there wanting someone to entertain your Akitas (as they tend to bore easily), feel free to contact him. Lastly, the group picture was taken at Miya's graduation class. She was voted "Most Likely to be a Bully".

We're still trying to remember to take more current pictures of Miya, so that everyone can see how big she's gotten, so please pardon the delay. However, here are a couple that were taken just a few weeks ago. She's taken a liking to the foot rest we have in the living room and seems to think it's her own personal resting place. Who's one to argue, though. Right?

Miya just keeps growing and growing. Here she is at the start of December, when she only weighed around 20-25lbs. I've also thrown in a picture of Chloe, our wonderful "male" cat. He's still not that friendly towards Miya, but we're getting better. When she's around, he likes to pull off his patented "twin paws of Doom" attack and then runs away. However, I'm confident that the two will eventually come to like each other, but it's going to take a lot of time to reach that point. Oh, and the picture of that couple holding Miya? That's our good friend Kristin and her husband, Paco.

Here is our wonderful puppy at the tender age of nine weeks. Her name is Miya and she is an Akita.
